Winter Peace
The snows that cling onto the branches
flocking the view with clean white snow,
The hush that's felt on a winter morning
bringing a peace you can hear,
by lack of noise and activity,
our world moves at a snow clad pace.
The Media & current events & lack of change
And as we kiss February 2010 goodbye, somehow we think back with a different slant on life, through recent events we have become a slight bit more+ cynical of the futures promise, of mankind, we've been seeing human behaviors displayed that rock us, aggressions coming from people who we never witnessed aggression in before, and it amazes us.
Where are we going? Does the youth not get it, we are all approaching a final landing strip that should have included all and one on their best behaviors.
We watch the news media promoting a patch job on mass amounts of cars, we watch the media promote the "winter olympics" tossing importance onto something that is "JUST A GAME", these mrons take the focus off of the ailing country and ailing industries.
I do not think terrorism will ever be erradicated in this lifetime, it is the type of cowardly warfare that can lurk wherever it finds a nitch, and can lash out where least expected, the countries involved in the war give partial committments for ending it, hunting it down, and then start reverting to the same mentality the minute a new government is set up, and so it goes in none progressive circles.
Walls streets back to it's old games, the politicians of the house & Senate cannot see past the parties, therefore refuse to act for the common good of the U.S. Population like ostriches with their head in the sand.
Jobs are still very limited in opening, millions across the country are unemployed, therefore lacking the income to run their own households, a very few can afford newer vehicles as the older ones become run down, and many have no healthcare and cannot afford to obtain medical coverage for themselves due to the current Health Houses who have manipulated the Health Rules and Regulations to fit their own high priced demands.
And people who try to obtain housing loans are rallying against stricter standards, and are bounced from Mortgage Co to Mortgage company before they are denied the loan, having spent hundreds out of pocket to proposed lenders for the costs involved in obtaining this negative decision.
It's very chaotic at best.
There's no end in sight to this fiasco as various pieces of the puzzle continue to not fit in with the modifications recently made.
And now the gas companies, oil companies, and electric companies are already speaking about raising prices in the summer, how can you raise prices on a failed economy only a few can afford the luxury of your increases fools?
And we watch and walk through the days looking for improvements!
