Forest for the Trees

Sometime you really can't see the Forest for the Trees. You walk off the path, and maybe get lost in your own thoughts for so long that you begin to have trouble sifting what you once easily juggled. It begins to weigh you down more, you sink a bit, surrounded by the sludge. It takes the love and humor of your family to get you back on target. Yesterday the deer ran out in front of me for the first time in several years, ever trusting that I would stop, and that I would allow the time for the trailer deer to run clear of the cars as well. Always with a look back over the their shoulders, as if to say "Ha, human you haven't changed so much". I know I'm supposed to prepare soon for the next round, to get us situated for a different adventure, one that holds less responsibilities, but I mull over how to achieve that best. Donna from Suits still runs monday through friday over her office crew, but the show has ended as the star decided to go become a princess, an American actress to English Princess, interesting end to that story. So as I emerge out of the forest, I spot the path, and try to walk the walk. A day in the life :)
