Different beliefs on hackers, all hackers differ:)

"I shall walk this way but once"- Wm Penn:

Getting "hacked" on your email can be a computer world trauma, a friend might call you or email you that you've been hacked or they suspect you have, reason being your email address starts sending all types of bizarre requests, things they know you wouldn't send unless you had gone off into the land of insanity.

Yesterday I received an email from my son (she's laughing) oh crap I fell for it and clicked on the link....Work at home moms....was just a test email, sent to me and sent to any of his females Professor's at his last two universities.  What do we have here, ahhhh hackers with some humor.
I deleted it, I have seen these ads before, you have to buy a kit in order to make thousands weekly all while working at home from your own computer.

I have three different email accounts I get these emails repeated every couple of hours in all of them, and then my mental doorbell knows he's in deep shit, he's been hacked, I text him, and tell him to call me so I can give him some protocols on how to minimize the damages as quickly as possible, while the people of the planet will still talk to him.  He works at this throughout the afternoon and then has to go to his job.

While he's at work and right before I leave my job I receive the hackers new sense of humor which has gone lewd, I do not click on this one, delete and delete out of the deletes.

Sometimes when your hacked they take your entire address book and all your emails, they in essence lock you out by changing your password, and that is a real adventure, they will send to everyone you've ever known, and they will always try to get money out of them, once they've highjacked your account they of course receive all of the answers intended for you, and "SO IT GOES" - Kurt Vonnegut

The best you can do is change all of your passwords (all email accounts & your cell phone as well if you have internet on your phone and receive emails in that way or else they can hack your phone = more fun.

There is also a theory about the hacking, some believe this works and some can't see how it would but here goes:
In your email address book make the very first contact in it read:  AAAA.AAA@lasiter.com or AAAA.AAA@myass.com using something that doesn't exist after the @ sign =a harsh reality on hackers hacking as they can't get past the first entry....capesh?

And run all of your virus checkers, and also know that within a day of this starting you open some email and clicked on some link YOU JUST SHOULDN'T HAVE!  Nuff Said!

Love of home and family

“I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”
William Penn

Yesterday was a day at home, the weather was beautiful and the grass needed the first cutting, and I needed to be out in the surroundings I love best, my yard which had  lots of interest points for me.  Everything is in bloom early this year after two weeks of warmth and sunshine totally setting a record for March.  Daffodils, forsythia's, tulips, bleeding hearts (which I had just sub-divided last week), all are growing and blossoming after the much needed rain a few days back, so anyone thinking I wasn't enjoying myself, well they would have been wrong, I was very much feeling the love of my home, my terrain, a place that's been tended to my husband, a place we both enjoy.

After a quick trip to the grocery store late afternoon, our son who was off from work joined us for some catch up conversation, and we laughed as he described some of his encounters with people in a service industry, made dinner together, and had a nice time together.

It can't get any better than the days when you get to enjoy both home and family.

Things that make us think & impact us

Let's start here with driving home several times recently and as I come down my street I see an aged white haired man sitting in some type of a wheelchair, he's got a little dog with him, and he just sits at the corner and stares out, next time I come by he's at an opposite corner, he's obviously got an illness or ailment to him, but to me it's unknown.  I try to figure out which of my neighbors it could possibly be, can't recall any of them with shock white hair, yet he's done by a part of the street where I know what's been sold, shouldn't be any newbees there.

About the 4th or 5th encounter I've got it, and it shocks me and make me stop in my own truck back in our garage to grieve for him.  I feel some of the overwhelming sadness he must have felt as his life changed, I think of some related and unrelated snatches of time that defined his family.  I think of my own moments of grief as I saw it play out in it's increments.

When I was young and about 27 years old I had moved to this town already, as I left the grocery one f the young men working at the store walked out with me and made sure I got to my car safely they had trouble with women and purses getting beat up and stolen recently, he was honest about it and I thanked him, his name was Tom Mennes I only knew him as Tom he'd been my bagger a few times in the store he was a nice kid some 9 or 10 years younger than me.
That Dominicks closed down, the next time I saw Tom was at Pop Eye's Chicken and while I waited for my order the manager was full blown screaming at him, I asked the manager to refrain from treating someone like that, told him there was no need especially in front of the customers, he told me he just a dumb kid and should be fired.
The next time I saw Tom he was working at Brown's Chicken up on NW Hwy across from my Abbott Real Estate Office, I smiled and waved to him happy (damn tears) he'd landed with a nice group of co-workers, the lady and man that owned the place were so happy they'd just gotten all new counters and seats put in, and they really liked Tom who we came to find out lived on my street, (I'd had his twin brother as a potential real estate client, they hadn't bought as they needed to straighten out some old credit matters that were haunting their history.)
With fresh tears in my eyes, I can say I don't know why bad things happen to good people, two nights later Tom was murdered in Brown along with the family that owned it, for Christ Sake I drove past it that night coming back from a showing up in Countryside condo's, it was horrible and it took years before DNA would catch the crooks.

Years later the father moved to Willow Condo's which was one of my main Real Estate Farms, and gave his house to the remaining twin whose wife Diane was on Dialysis waiting for a transplant .  One night when the father (Mr. Mennes who had picketed with Rick & I years earlier over a garbage Transfer Station being built too close to our homes) walked into his own condo after having run down to get a paper from the lobby he returned to his unit, he was no longer alone, Mo was in the unit and would stab him some 15 times as part of a gang initiation and steal his Catholic rosary, another horrible death to deal with for his remaining son.
Mo, the actual stabber had grown up in the same schools as our son, I had been their room mother several times for Halloween Parties and Field Trips, I knew his GrandMa who was a good christian women and lived in Mr Mennes building, I didn't know his crackhead MOTHER who had moved him away to the gang infested portion of our town and virtually threw away a good life of a youngster, but I knew Mo the sophomore football player who could run swiftly and gracefully and make you think of a young Walter Peyton, and I remember that when he moved to the projects up by Dundee and Baldwin he told the boys he had troubles getting home at night due to gang members stopping him and messing with him as it's phrased. Mo's long gone to jail for life!
The last thing I heard with Mennes family was that Diane never got her transplant and had passed away about a year back.
So my neighbor down the street who sits looking 10 years older than me instead 10 years my junior is the remaining twin to Tom, he's had a hell of life if you think about the pain of soul experienced at not just losing people from his life, but losing them in a horrible manner.
I think of our own trials and loses, and do at some point know they all could have been worse!

Teabaggers versus the Reptiles, Primary Day

I am a Democrat by birth.  Born in Chicago,  Mayor Daley's City, no not that Mayor Daley, the other one his father, the one who created the machine and a city that worked, a Democratic City with a machine behind it.  I liked what the word Democratic represented in my youth, a Democracy.  Now take that a put it aside for awhile.

Several years ago, the Reptiles who had been in office 8 years too long, 8 very long years, (We the People of the United States in order to form a more perfect union) the two men in charge were especially greedy and corrupt, and greased their skids so that any and all profit to be made by themselves, or to benefit their good old boys club of Rich and Affluent friends and family, well they drained off and siphoned what they could to their own special interests, their biggest crimes were really prolonging a war that was depleting our already precarious finances and whopper of all crimes against the USA humanities was they did absolutely nothing to stop or slow a financial collapse that they had to see coming, they were after all surrounded by the best of financial intellects and economic advisers, of course many of those lovely Federal Reserve Advisers were as corrupt as a Trojan Virus in any Computer, so they let the media do their doom and gloom over a slowing new construction housing market, but saved the best for last as they were ready to make their end of 8 years get away, and finally dumped onto the American Public, that all of the top Wall Street Financial houses and All of our Banks were in deep troubles, all out of money ready to close without emergency steps to be taken of intervention and bailouts by the ever lovely Federal Reserve (now remember they're corrupted too by their own special interests) and the financial houses and all the bad mortgage loans aka: bad paper, and inside trading on Wall Street, all bailed out, and most would be recuperated within a years time.
Meanwhile back at the farm, who to replace these two gems called Bush & Chenney?  The American Public was pretty tired of Republicans (pet name for them is Reptiles) at that point, a political party that's always represented big money interests, and big money interests had gotten us as close to the Great Depression as people in the year 2008-2009 wanted to be, thus the bailout implemented under George W's regime, all those advisers showed up then with their flawless plans of how this would save our country.
So along comes Democratic President Obama, the nations Great White Hope so to speak, he had some great ideas, he had some plans which he implemented as quickly as possible, he had his own ideas of war or what country was placing America and the free world in danger, he had a plan for progressing out of this decline.  It probably would have stabilized by now, but the American Public has a very short memory, and at half time two years into his Presidency, the American Public voted in a Republican Majority for our Congress and Senate, and since that time we've made no progress.  Every bill every issue has been blocked, voted down, or bastardized by the Congress in particular.
Now for fun, it's a bad economy, towns and cities keep raising taxes, raising the equalizer's used in their tax formula, but the people who had been in automotive towns, and the housing construction and all related trades are mostly on layoff so talk of taxes increasing, home values decreased by 30-50% if you can believe it, makes for a new party forming itself: The Tea Party, and the tea party begun over taxes walks right into the reptile chess board and gets played for chumps with their no more taxes thinking as the reptiles use the Tea Party momentum to block a fairer tax on Billionaires and Multimillionaires, used and abused the Tea Party will be dying off shortly, and the Reptiles score again!
So, today is primary day in our neck of the woods, that means getting out to vote towards stream lining down the current candidates running within their own parties to one choice per party and should give a good definition of what's up ahead in the actual election, and for far too many weeks the Reptiles have paraded their candidates around the country making a mockery of each other and of the time and money wasted on such long election campaigns, and the media feeds on them, so they're actually no better.

Can we please just get back to trying to heal a country that's been torn apart by political agenda's and political parties and political corruptions? We can not make any progress, when we're not allowed to turn the page.
I was born a democrat, I was born in one of the finest cities in the country, I was born an American.

What a week

I fell out of my truck last night much the same way John Wayne used to jump off his horse after a very long ride.  It was a way of ditching a very heavy weight off my back for at least the evening or weekend.

Some weeks carry so much in baggage it's hard to carry it all, heavier, heavier, vump!

So we made it through some large truck trials and tribulations, we made it through a week of a disappeared boss who usually calls or communicates more, but decided to fall off the planet for large gaps of time, so funny he came to life yesterday afternoon apparently reading his weeks email, only to decide to forward them all to me for handling as the weeks clock ran out of time, but we already knew people can just be simply amazing, yes?

The weather which was absolutely gorgeous had us yearning to play hookie, but it would have been a disastrous idea to succumb to or so the laughing girl acknowledges.  70 degrees, 80 degrees, on the Ides of March, awesome in Chicagoland.

So the calendar watching girl has finally made it to deadline, all gone and something back in, phase two of a month begins with house cleaning, groceries, paperwork, and cleaning one ruby red grill so that her niece can have some out door fun with her spouse & son., and getting that grill there.

They say he bestows only as much as can be borne:) ?

Why the Irish came to the USA in Droves, no land rights in the north;

Little Tidbits that had a bearing on leaving family and home becames apparent in songs:

"The Wearing of the Green" is an anonymously-penned Irish street ballad dating to 1798. The context of the song is the repression around the time of the Irish Rebellion of 1798. Wearing a shamrock in the "caubeen" (hat) was a sign of rebellion and green was the colour of the Society of the United Irishmen, a republican revolutionary organization. During the period, displaying revolutionary insignia was made punishable by hanging.

Leon Uris wrote "Trinity" which well described what it was to be Irish and live in Ireland during the 1800's, especially the late 1800's  their lands were still held by the invaders who had taken them for their own via the English throne's, and they were made into slaves in their own terrain:

Because the enemies of the Irish people see as one of their main heroes William Of Orange ("King Billy") who defeated Irish forces at The Battle Of The Boyne, forever cementing the presence of the protestant scotch and Anglicans in Ireland... Orange represents those people, they who oppressed Irish culture... The Orange on the flag is a tribute to those protestants who assimilated into Irish culture... but Orange alone represents something much different -- hatred of the Irish people.

Every year on St Pat's Day, the Ulster's of Scottish and English Heritage would plan a William of Orange Parade , the day usually ended up with bloodshed between the two mixes.

It was a sad land that has only remained calm the last 20 years or so:

Happy St Pat's Day

"When was the last time, you ever saw the sunrise?" It's coming up right now, and promises a fine weather day a rarity of 75 degrees in Chicago Land on March, I can remember two others so fine, and those were days of a girl and her siblings out playing baseball or volleyball.  Fun for us, and yet we could see our own home across the playing field and always knew when it was time to go home as we'd see our Irish Grandpa arrive with our own Dad.  Irish Music would play, and then Grandpa would play his Accordion for us, his foot thumping to the beat. My own brother with an angels voice singing to us as he stood on a dining room chair, the Ballad of Kevin Barry.

It's the Irish I get my sentimental side from, so I have my own thoughts and memories flitting in and out today, and I watch our son and his friends plan out their own outing to Celebrate their partial heritage, and I think I had it better, as I knew Grandpa who had come from that war torn country to become an immigrant in this land, a land that treated all immigrants roughly if you survived the boat trip, a land that would force you into fighting for your own progresses, after having been exiled from your own homeland.

It was no easy transition from one land to the other, so like stayed with like, and segregated themselves as a matter of protection and strength, and so it's sweet all these years later St Patrick's Day is celebrated more in the USA than it is in Ireland:)
For my folks and their teachings:
“May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And the rain fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of his hand”

Signs of spring or a Planetary Alignment made for a wonderful weekend?

This weekend, we had several things to do and accomplish, and we also went to see two parts of the family, but everywhere we went the world came into balance, it could be that spring is so near, it could be the phenomenal planetary alignment that's underway when you consider what the moon's impact alone does for gravitational pull, but it was smooth sailing, and it delighted me that I was not the only one perceiving some unseen shift. And people encountered absolutely shined.

And when we got home that first night, up in the sky were several of the planets that can not usually be seen huge and bright and right next to the other as our eyes can see.  One article I found on it shows I'm not alone in my interest:

Rare planetary alignment coming into our orbit

This photo illustration shows the approximate locations of several planets as they will be visible on Monday, when the Boyertown Planetarium will have telescopes available for sky-gazing.
Venus and Jupiter will be staring down at Earth like a pair of bright eyes on Monday, and that's only one of several astronomical events that will make for fascinating stargazing that evening.

The intersection of several interesting phenomena has prompted Peter Detterline, director of the Boyertown Planetarium, to invite the public to use the planetarium's telescopes Monday at 8 p.m.

"I'm expecting a huge crowd and I'm inviting lots of folks with telescopes," said Detterline, who also teaches astronomy at Kutztown University.

The cost is $4 for adults and $2.50 for students and children.

The planetarium is at Boyertown Junior High School East, 2020 Big Road, also known as Route 73, just west of Route 663 in New Hanover Township, Montgomery County.

Venus and Jupiter will be close together in the western sky, with Venus on the right and bright because it's close and Jupiter on the left and bright because it's big, Detterline said.

He suggests taking a photograph with an object in the foreground for scale.

Also on Monday, Mercury will be visible to the west at twilight. And Mars still will be very visible since it reached its closest point to Earth last Monday. This happens every two years, Detterline said.

He also cautioned not to be taken in by the ridiculous email that's being forwarded claiming Mars will look as large as a full moon.

"Never has happened, never will!" Detterline said.

But he added: "What is true is that right now, somewhere between you and that crimson world, is a spacecraft with a rover the size of an automobile. The rover's name is Curiosity, and its mission is to search for life when it lands on Mars this fall."

Losing more Edge or Extremely Spiritual

A year and 3 months ago I set one strand out into action, little action, no action, and so it was cast out onto the horizon.  It was a small strand really for some future saving of humanity, my humans.  I write this laughing at myself as sometimes I must acknowledge I am my biggest adversary in life.
It's a joke, I referred Kim, they did a little for a long time, and then a lot in a short time, and then the ever loving banks just dragged their feet as only they could do in the middle of the housing chaos that is perpetually in reign.
Now 15 months later as my lovely piece of prized paper would rattle off into the sunset next month, I get the email I have long waited for which would have proven to at least myself that I could bring something additional to the human table...yes I am laughing...so now if this were to close finally in late may, I would be a dollar short or many dollars short.....so I know to decide yet again if I go for the next round of schooling, crashed coursed in 1 month to retain the ever lovely piece of paper and bring those spare dollars into the table...or if I just simply say screw it, I am a tired old bag.
March has been a fuzzy little piece of action so far, casting numerous puzzle pieces up into the air, and never knowing where just one of them will land, too many participants to possibly have any controls.
Sometimes you just have to laugh at a girl attempting hunt some rabbits:) I can hear Elmer Fudd now..........

Do the Banks own the Insurance Companies or Vice Versa?

"When was the last time, you ever saw the sunrise?"  Yep, yep it's beautiful outside, the sun came up, blue skies, some small white tuffs and streaks rolling by the blues, treetops are swaying, it's March 6th, 2012.  On facebook people wonder about the Mayan Calendar, cajole with each other, and play music or post witty sayings of the day.

Me, I'm obsessed with the Banks and Insurance Companies for oh so many reasons, but since I believe way too many people can't stay focused on one topic long enough to fix anything out of whack in our economy, I will try like hell to stay focused here:

My main point that I wish the USA Government in particular would embrace like it was chocolate or even possibly future votes is this:  The Banks and their hired appraisers who are licensed to appraise REAL ESTATE have held us hostage as homeowners of varying equities or thereby lacking equities with an old method that needs to be eradicated, the appraisers simply use the most recent 4-6 properties sold bearing similarities to your own home to determine it's value and this has included many foreclosed homes or homes not decorated nor cared for since the 50's and 60's, homes where you go in and truly see hot pink congoleum or chartreuse your pick, some still had the first round of shag carpeting with stick pins from shirts purchased stuck way down deep, and yes believe me these truly have existed yet been used against a caring homeowner.  So your cared home that was appraised for $345,000 in 2008 is now worth per bank standards $225,000 at best due to 3 years of foreclosures and oldsters retired to a seniors home.
However, in the Insurance World a home is worth what it would cost them to rebuild it! If your home used to be worth $345,000 in the banks eyes before the plummet, at worst in the insurance world it might have fallen to $315,000 because that is what the building products and inflated gas prices to lug all those products still equate to for rebuilding purposes, products have not become so much cheaper, and the expert labor to rebuild is still costly even though diminished per hour in many realms.  NO MY DEAR the insurance companies are more on parr with a very real value.
My brilliant deduction here is this major piece needs to be revamped NOW.  When a property is sold let an insurance appraiser go out to inspect it, and see what their compiled report turns out like based on replacement cost!  If this was implemented the entire building industry, and real estate market would be stabilized!  This stability of market would level out all related industries bringing multiple solutions to America.

The Fall from Grace

“We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down.”
Kurt Vonnegut

The Fall from Grace was a journey
forever spiraling down
the beauty of views
long kept us amused
days of old would resurface

The Fall from Grace
couldn't be escaped
something needing constant attentions
with speed the terrain
headed our way
the impact anticipated

It's surreal at times,
those days of old
wonder if they once existed
-kms 03/2012

Found this out on my internet hunts:
“Her feelings she hides
Her dreams she can't find
She's losing her mind
She's falling behind
She can't find her place
She's losing her faith
She's falling from grace
She's all over the place”

A thank you

People are driven by many different motives in life, and at any one isolated moment it can become hard to discern, I am standing my profile to the woman's view, I am caught in the minute of cooking, so I did not expect the story of the sad tale of your adventure , I don't know if my color changed or if she saw my eyes well up.
I think she knew I had a soft spot for you, you were the one that set Sunshine in motion, it was you who encouraged a mind to express itself, the words that have poured out since.  Moments of sadness released, and many happier times of growing up in Chicago,  the small and common places we both knew in different time era's, yet all three loved the terrain.  The day I described Annunciation off of Paulina, and the rectory and church and you wrote back , setting many other memories of a big city in motion, and it's effect on one soul or more.
I can only express the sadness I felt for your chaotic day that impacted your lives. Sadness for you, and heart for them. Time can be a friend and an enemy robbing our bodies as they age of the balance they once knew, no two bodies the same for what will be lacking to throw the game out of kilter.

Strength of the long haul, strength of mind and character, changed in a moment, diminished capacity with no return will rob for a short time a family of who they had been, but one day down the road, they will remember the better days.  The better days will be all that count.

All of us are not perfect, one segment sees flaws in another from time to time, it's a long life we lead with ever shifting shapes of who we are to one person that may be sorely lacking for another, we don't all mesh, there's no 100% for agreements or behaviors. To me you were a positive force to express myself. And I thank you.

None of us know where the road goes, or how it will end, so we continue the journey one step at a time, learning as we go, and hopefully giving of ourselves some small thing that might make a bettered difference in the lives we touch.
Always having a small prayer "for the best possible outcome" .

A room full of women, 1 is missing

"When was the last time, you ever saw the sunrise?" Not yesterday, yesterday early I was laying out the material for the baby blanket I wanted to make for Danielle's shower, she wanted an animal theme and she certainly got it, monkeys, tigers, giraffe, but I was happy with the way the blanket turned out, only my second endeavor.  The goal is to give something in this economy that is economical in cost, but your time in making it, and what it becomes will keep it around long enough for it to be a treasured enjoyed article in a young life.

When I walked in exactly on time ( an act of God no doubt) I was greeted by my friend Lynn who is Danielle's real mom, not to be confused with any of her fathers other wives who all became step moms, usually vying for the mom position, this time Lynn was giving the shower which was awesome for her, and then Danielle approached with Allison her brother's new wife, the other shower hostess, these young ladies are so cute in their intensity for details.  Danielle was running emotional, she's nervous for the April date, and prays fluently, my mind old mind can relate, I remember waiting for a right to a wrong myself, and think of Rick and my Star Wars series 2/5/83 my stomach and my head streamlined into one entity as I waited for the next days entrance to Resurrection.  I pray for Danielle's loveliest outcome in April and a boy pre-named Jacob.

The women in the room have met eachother before at the wedding shower, and wedding, and some more at Allison & Michael's events so many are comfortable, and once the table talk starts up it flows pretty well, I am solo, seems most were paired, I have a missing slot next to me, Lynn tells me Kathy Voss can not attend, she has been in and out of the hospital, she is having problems with her heart. My brain does not like this news, now it makes the spot next to me more acute. Kathy & I go way back to 1986 and an aweful lot of adventures in our schooling and post schooling for Real Estate, we partnered on our first endeavors to list homes, argued about methods, and stayed friends for the past 26 years, and survived long absences from eachother only to fall into deep conversations usually, levels of comfort always restored. I actually spent a few friday nights tucked in on her couch after an evening of food, conversation & music, her telling me the snows would stop soon and the roads would be better in the morning, she was a good friend for an important segment. We even vacationed together to Florida for the Sunrise trip, driving the boys to Daytona at 3:30am for the REAL SUNRISE Event we all loved.

Two of the women at the table employed Danielle in her early days of high school, and kept her slot open for her during the college years as she'd return home for summers, they loved her and Corey whom she had in those teenage years, and her the best of young moms for that season, her Capricorn determination serving her and him so well. And he is 13 now, and excited for a little brother.

So a room full of women solidly enjoy themselves as they watched the young lady unwrap all of the treasures she's in need of, she is so touched by all the warm thoughts and love conveyed.

And I find I still send out some silent prayers, Not totally sure what I believe anymore, but I still pray to a higher power, I can't tell if it's habit or instinct. But one day I will find out.
