The garden

He planted my flower gardens last year. Each day after work creating more beauty, reworking tired areas, sparse areas. He tended these as he work out in his head where he thought the future might be unfolding to. He watered all the new life as needed, and weeded the entire gardens to keep the beauty. When winter came, we weathered though its vast months of cold, and the life changes he anticipated came our way, we worked through them all together and united, and hoped better days would come with spring. We watched our garden re-emerge, and new surprises came our way of forgotten plants seeded the year before, of flowers not seen prior to now. And spring hopes turned to summer, and steady heat filled days, and just as things touched bottom, some seeds of love pull us back to better days to keep us even. He has a steady progressive manner, that lets him sow these seeds for growth, and with the proper tending brings us, sunshine, some rainbows and some hope.
