Speaking briefly of politics last night, my other 1/2 mentions that the US has a flaw in the system of who makes the laws, and that Congress shouldn't make the laws any longer as they've only pushed through the ones that benefit themselves, and he is totally correct, another body of voters should make the laws that affect the lawmakers, this would keep the American Public protected from the greed and corruption of a limited few trying to line their pockets with extra perks, no voting for their own raises, pensions, double dips, and they can be the very first to test out the new healthcare rules, see how they like what they've butchered the bill to.
