The Giving Tree stops in on us

"Two roads diverged into a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference! -Robert Frost

Never enough time to do it all.

Invited by family for a Kareoke Night, was fun, listening to oldies they'd find on the menu, watching guys and gals in family up there with arms wrap about the other as they'd sing together and all the laughter from them and us, but it is hard to stay up that late anymore since we oldsters go to bed at 8pm on weeknite, 1am is....well it gave us jetlag yesterday so all the imagined things we were going to do, suffice it to say, not even 1/2 got done. But here and there we'd smile thinking back to the night before.

Our sister who traveled to us has tremendous energies and love for us all, how could it not rally our tired asses? She is a loved keeper! And we love the better for her gifts.
Once upon a time she was in her twenties, she brought me a book, it was called "The giving tree", it is a book you pass on, and one you re-read throughout the years, it is all too true, for we are all giving trees*, sometimes we just get too busy to remember all the love that is there.
