We traveled far to gain some progress,
empathetic people lent to our stress,
worthwhile goals, hard to obtain,
so many obstacles, it was quite insane.
We traveled far to gain some heart,
the devilish ones, still only barked,
and bit us leaving lacerations for scars,
a few regrouped and the sunlight.
We traveled further to bring in humor,
and songs of love and magic memories
to bring a smile of remembered times,
with empathy dead we could really heal.
We traveled far for love and hope,
time travelers now back a good 30 years,
when coffee in a kitchen brought warmth to us all,
and love, music, laughter was all that mattered.

We all walk through our days together knowing we're not quite alone in it. When one is weak, another is strong, that with time and care we can survive it all, enjoying all the great days in between. The Good outweighs the Bad, and Forgiveness walks hand in hand with Love, doesn't it?
