So many definitions broadened by church and man, man & church, not going there, I will use the easiest to digest,
Spirit defined: The Vital principle or animating force within living beings, Incorporeal consciousness.
And:
Spiritual: Of, relating to, consisting of or having the nature of spirit, not tangible or material.
It is believed in some circles that a body is born with a brain, and that brain and body combined are the do all end all of that person.
It is also believed by another circle that a body is a shell for a mind who through time, observation of their surroundings and stimulus for growth of each mutually can develop into the very best component of what will carry them through life: The Human Spirit, the spiritual side of each unique human, some of us call it the soul, some say the mind is the doorway to the soul, but not without events and experiences to bring that animating force to life, and make no mistakes it is a powerful element, so powerful at times that it finds it difficult to find it's own release perhaps, but that s probably another story.
The development of the human spirit can be seen from early childhood, growing, observing, loving nature, and nature loving the little being right back.
It can be made cold and isolated by impacting changes of household or family problems that stunt it's growth in one capacity and yet enhance it's spiritual side when that is all it is left with, thoughts and feeling held in, unhappiness held in, at times you're only left with yourself so of course the spiritual side will become more affected, some will grow bitter, some will grow to know true value of all the good in life as it arrives to them.
The light you see in a summer night on the lightening bug bright then low almost to extinguished, and back up to bright could capture the human spirit, and that spirit can bring you through all segments, it is strong beyond words.
An Occurrence, one man shrugs it off, one man frets, and another ponders the whole scheme of things like it was a puzzle piece trying to see what it will alter or has altered. Does that make any of them right or wrong in their approach? No, it's just the difference in their spirits taking in an occurrence, it's a natural process for each to observe and react as their inner selves or spirit best can.
