We all valued you for the reasons,
you were always in the same place,
a guide for our long journey,
never bending, ever present.
As the northern light came close to burning out,
we gathered all to give you strength,
to heal you, with love near and afar,
we brought you back, some twinkling seen,
in our Northern Star.
Replaced the ebbed out gases, re-inflated the star,
and cast you up into the sky, light there yet,
not seen now from as far,
each of us differ on how much light you should shed,
Some illumination or bright so you'll be seen from afar.
We all walk through our days together knowing we're not quite alone in it. When one is weak, another is strong, that with time and care we can survive it all, enjoying all the great days in between. The Good outweighs the Bad, and Forgiveness walks hand in hand with Love, doesn't it?
